Sonic x Italian!Reader x Shadow (read description for translation)

Sonic and Shadow were walking in the forest while arguing about who is faster at running. "Admit it Shadow, I can run faster than you! The only way you're fast as me is because of your shoes. And to prove it, let's have a race." "JUST SHUT UP, FAKER! I DON'T WAN'T RACE YOU!" *snap*. The sound of a broken twig was heard by the two hedgehogs' ears. making them fall silent.

They looked around to find what caused the sound. Sonic spotted a (hair color) haired girl, all alone in the woods. "Shadow, look!" The red streaked hedgehog looked in the direction Sonic was pointing in. He saw the girl as well. The two hedgehogs looked at each other and nodded then walked over to the girl.

"Hey, miss! What are you doing out here alone?" Sonic asked the girl. The girl jumped and turned around to see two hedgehogs. One was blue with emerald green eyes and peach arms with a peach spot on his chest. The other was a black hedgehog with crimson red eyes and red streaks on his arms, legs, and quills.

"Chi sei? Perche sei qui?"(1) she asked. The hedgehogs were confused at what she said.

"Oh, parli Italiano?"(2)

"Ma'am, we can't understand you." Shadow said.

"Mi dispiace, non parlo inglese."(3) she said.

"Inglese? wait! That means English in Italian. I don't think she can speak English, Shadow."

"If that's the case, can you understand us?" Shadow asked the girl.

"Si."(4) she nodded.

"Can you try to say your name in English?" Sonic asked.

"_-_-______" she studdered.

"Well miss _______, you want to come with us? We can try to teach you English." Shadow asked.

"Si, vi ringrazio molto."(5) she nodded. They nodded and left with ______ in tow.

Within a few months, ______ was making progress in learning English with Sonic and Shadow. She still speaks Italian but only when she feels emotions. Sonic and Shadow also learned some language from ______ as well. One day, ______ was helping Shadow and Sonic move the furniture around until she smashed her hand in the cabinet door. "Ahhh! Oh mio dio, la mia mano maledetto e bloccato! Non uscira!"(6) she exclaimed while trying to get her hand out the door.

The two hedgehogs heard her yell and ran to see what happened. They found ______ trying to get her hand out of the cabinet while yelling in Italian. "Hold still, ______! We will get your hand out. Just stay calm." Sonic said. "Stupido idiota! Come posso calmarsi, quando la mia mano e stata schiacciatta da una porta?!"(7) she yelled. Shadow pulled on the door and ______ got her hand out quickly.

"Grazie, Shadow. Mi dispiace, di Sonic."(8) she said. "I understand why you yelled and I forgive you." Sonic said while patting her back. She looked at her hand and noticed it was bleeding. Shadow took her hand and licked it.

"Shadow! What-!"

"My DNA can heal any disease or wound. That's how I heal faster than any other mortal." he said. Shadow let go of her hand and noticed they were healed.

"Be careful next time, okay, ______?"

"Okay." she answered.

The three finished up the house and hung out on the couch with Sonic on ______'s lap, playing with her hair, making her giggle, and Shadow leaning on her arm, smiling at the sound of her giggling. Suddenly, the phone started to ring. Sonic jumped up to let ______ get up to answer it.

Minutes later, Sonic and Shadow were getting worried about ______ and started to go see if anything was okay. They found her sitting on the floor sobbing with the phone hanging by the cord. "______, what's wrong!?" Sonic asked worried about his friend. Shadow knelt down beside her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders. "M-m-my f-friend c-called m-me and said m-my parents' car f-flipped and k-k-killed t-them on i-impact."

The two hedgehogs embraced her and tried to calm her down. ______'s sobs turned into constant hiccups and sniffles while her face was buried in Shadow's (non-visible) neck.

"Grazie per essere li per me, di Sonic e Shadow."(9) ______ mumbled.

"It's okay, ______. I once lost a friend and watched her die in front of me, but I'll always remember her." Shadow said.

"Mi dispaice, che e successo."(10) ______ whispered.

"As long as we have each other, together we will be strong to pick up each other when we fall." Sonic said.

"Ti amo, di Sonic e Shadow. Grazie."(11) she said with a small smile as she sat up to look at her friends. through her tear-filled eyes. They wiped away her tears and held her hands. "So do we, ______." Sonic said while Shadow nodded in agreement. The two hedgehogs stayed with ______ and she as happy as she can be. With Sonic and Shadow being her friends, ______ always felt loved and knew that they love her too.
